Fall 2024 Membership Update
I’ll keep this quarterly update brief – I know we’re all tied up with Black Friday and everything that comes with it! On that note, be sure to check your inbox for exclusive offers throughout the month.
If you haven’t yet, there’s still time to join our webinar later today on building an AI assistant, featuring the fantastic Le-An Lacaba. It’s shaping up to be a highly practical session on improving task management and boosting efficiency.

Distraction busters
Here are my top five tips for maximizing your additional study time in the DMI library while reducing distractions and maintaining focus.

1. Establish definite working hours
Setting up specific working hours promotes organization, particularly when working from home. By letting people know these times, you can establish appropriate boundaries and concentrate uninterrupted.
2. Make a daily to-do list that includes five essential tasks.
Lists are a fantastic tool for keeping track of chores, but you may improve attention and avoid overwhelm by keeping your daily list to just five important items.
3. Deactivate Email Alerts
This one is challenging but successful! Once or twice a week, try shutting off your email notifications or putting your inbox away for at least half a day. It can greatly increase productivity and focus.
4. Maintain a Clean Workspace
A messy workstation might be an alluring diversion. You can avoid the temptation to clean up instead of working by maintaining an orderly workspace.
5. Take Consistent Rests
I developed the practice of taking a five-minute break every hour thanks to a previous coworker. Short pauses, such as stretching, moving around, or going outside, can help you focus and clear your head.

Webinars, podcasts, videos, and more
Our mid-summer webinar with Rand Fishkin, in which he discussed the most pressing issues confronting marketers today and offered new insights on how to overcome them, is still available.
We also keep up with the most recent developments in the social media business. Evelina Krusinskaite, a travel content creator, gave a helpful Instagram audit checklist to help you optimize your profile, so don’t miss our webinar.
Listen to our podcast with Dutch expert Archana Haarnack if you’re interested in Pinterest marketing. She talks out successful techniques on the platform.
In a different episode, Brian Finnerty talked about his experience as the head of the marketing department for a multinational ed-tech company while we (virtually) flew to California. We also spoke with Niamh Delaney, who offered us an inside peek at what it’s like to be a digitally mobile entrepreneur, midway between Bali and Australia.
Additionally, we’re updating our collection of brief instructional films to reflect the most recent advancements in AI. Check out Will Francis’s essential video on Google NotebookLM, which is one of my favorite places to find research and editorial inspiration!
